Located in Terminal 2 of International Departures at Melbourne Airport, ST. ALi sits facing the tarmac, quietly
nestled away from the busy concourse. It offers a unique moment of respite from the busy airport where one can
watch the planes arrive and depart.

An already well-established and loved Melbourne coffee house and brand, a key driver of the brief was to capture
the organic ‘found’ and eclectic aesthetic of the original ST. ALi South Melbourne. The aim was to leave travellers
with a taste of the rich Melbourne coffee scene while creating a sense of the ‘Melbourne punk’ attitude inherent
in the ST. ALi brand.

The compact 115 sqm site is styled with bespoke booth seats and aviation style cantilevered benches. These are teamed with Australian-made tables and chairs, illuminated by hand-blown glass and brass decorative light fittings.
